i'd like places to buy the same things that i can buy at home, since i'll come back there many times in futur

It depends on what kinds of things you mean. Since you said you want stuff you can buy at home, I assume you're *not* talking about souvenirs...
One of the best places to buy all kinds of things is the Malcha Shopping Mall. It is large--3 floors, with lots of stores. There are a number of clothing, shoe, toy, and book stores, along with almost anything else you can imagine aimed at people who are living in Jerusalem. The prices aren't the lowest around, but they're not really high, either--somewhere in the low-average range. Most of the stores have high quality merchandise. It has a large parking area with security, and is also served by a number of different buses.

Ok, get yourself to Emek Refa'im street. Beautiful stores there. The Malha mall has pretty standard stores, Ben Yehuda (in the center of town) has some nice ones. They cater mostly to tourists. Emek Refa'im really has the best ones if you're interested in high class products. If you need anything while you're here, feel free to send me a message. Good luck!

Go to Ben Yehuda St. It has a lot of neat stores.
