Most Suitable fabric for a bridal saree?

Hi, I'm a bit fat person and wondering what fabric should I choose for my bridal saree. I really like Thai Silk as it has a rich texture and a look but worried that it'll make me look fatter. Anyone has experince in wearing a thai silk saree. Please advise

Don't wear silk
It will make you look heavier....try crepes or gorgettes
