Too numerous to mention but India and Australia do

For many years driving on the right has been more common and we've been denied cars from America and more specialist European models.

However, the growth of markets in India and across Africa means that driving on the left is becomming much more common. This is one of the reasons we are seeing a lot of US cars in RHD finally, they know the market is coming.

Point of Interest - Japan drives on the left but has often had prestige cars in LHD either for snob value or, in the case of large saloons, so the chauffeur can get out on the pavement side to open the door for you. You could be waiting ages if he had to get out into the Tokyo traffic!!!

The same principal applies in many countries to Post Vans, which have the wheel on the wrong side so it's easy/safer for the Postie to get in and out.

Very simple. These are countries that have mandatory right-hand driving. Unlike left-hand driving (keep right, give way left), right-hand driving requires one to keep left and give way to the right. As a rule of thumb, countries featureing right hand drive are former British colonies and the UK itself. This brings us to a list of 75 places in total (including those that recently converted). Note, also, that the US Virgin Islands drive left (i.e. right-hand drive).
