Sorry, that sounds very hard.
I also think you should breathe deeply, cry if you need to (it's ok), and move on with your life. Someday you mom may think better and make a move for reconciliation, but dont' count on it, and don't force it (when you locate her). I know you love her, and I am sure deep inside she also loves you, or she wouldn't have raised you. Things will work out in the end. If they haven't worked out, it's not the end.

Unforgiveness, anger, and bitterness, puts a person heart in bondage. With a closed heart you are not free to love anyone else. You have done great by keeping you heart open to love your mother unconditionally. I apologize on your mother's behalf, because I am a mother and I realize that we are not perfect and we do make mistakes with our children. Just keep the love that you have for her in your heart, and once she gets tired of running from her past, she'll return to you.

just let the matter be the way it is if distance with you gives her peace let her be that way.
may be she will realise that you are imp part of her life through this .she is bitter but life has made her that way she has to be alone for sometime to get over things. your dad must have really
broken her down.
be brave let her decide if she wants you in her life . you also need to accept the fact that it is not going to be normal with you.
best wishes

Please don't get worry about this you just look at your life but don't forget. You think that she is a good teacher for you where she thought you about feelings of your heart, about love. by thinking your mother you never do the mistake what she did. carry on with your life. even though if she comes to you, you just lookafter her but never ignore her. till that dont care her you just care for your life

You seem more sorted in life than she is. handle her like you'd handle your kid. Get mad where appropriate, insist on some discipline and communication and be there for her when she needs someone.
You have a tough job, but go for it - we get only one mother.
Good luck!
