I am a husband. To me, the relation between man and wife is, woman is to respect their husband, love and serve them wholely.
Man is to love and protect his wife.
So, to me, it is not sacrifice. But if my wife is in danger or been threaten, I will make protect her with my life.
I do not think it is sacrifice, but it is my duty, my right.
