Biddulph Grange is an interesting National Trust Garden just north of Stoke, with different themed areas representing different parts of the world

The city museum is worth a visit and they have a Spitfire in tribute to Mitchell who designed it and came from S-o-T

Recently we went to Spode and had a factory tour. It was really interesting and cheap! Most of the pottery companies will do factory tours if you call them and ask nicely.

If you drive just out of Stoke into Cheshire you can visit Jodrell Bank radio telescope which is amazing to look at close up and they have a proper visitor centre with planetarium

Hope this helps!

Theres a reasonable curry house in Stoke with some interesting Indian paintings on the wall. Apparantly its quite old too, established in 1992 I believe.
