I have to go to court in the morning on a felony drug charge. I was the one who turned myself in and aleady contacted the ASAP office and I'm approved for the Rapid Rehab Program. I'm just worred that the judge will be and *** and want to lock me up. My lawyer doesnt seem worried but he court appointed and doesnt care or return 1/2 of my calls. I'm just worried and scared and it's keeping me awake. What do you think will happen??

Probably not. Rehab is probable, and maybe a fine, with probation also possible. You will probably be required to pass drug tests during a probationary period. I , like William C above, am curious. What state do you live in that categorizes paraphenalia with positive residue as a felony?

I think the only person who can answer that for sure is the judge. But if this is your first offence, and you have already agreed to go into rehab, i'm sure the judge will be leniant. Even if you do have other things on your record, the fact that you are eager to get into rehab will be on your side.

Just keep a positive attitude and everything should work out! Good luck! :)

How many times have you been arrested.
for this type of Felony?
You wont go to jail, but he can issue,
community service and counseling, maybe even probation,
Also don't be concerned about the Lawyer~ !
Lawyer,s only take so much time to speak to you,
After that they have nothing else to say.!
No matter how worried you are,
A Lawyer isn't a councilor, the never return calls.
The Lawyer handles it in court with the judge,
But wont sit on phone explaining all that can happen ,
over n over ~!
I hope you learned a lesson,
Good luck.
~*~*~*~*~*~Peace.
Its like a code of ethics with lawyers~!

alot of the time if its your first offence and you have been approved for rehab the judge will give you time at the rehab and possibly a fine. What state do you live in for that to be a felony?

Wow... I hate to ask, but are you doing the stuff? I hate that you're facing a felony charge, because federal prison is no joke and I wouldn't wish it on anyone but a rapist or child molester cause they only get what's coming to them. But you've got to stay off the crack. Stay off the freaking crack, man.

No you will not go to jail. The Judge will send you to rehab and ask social workers to report on your progress.
Read the bible and you will become a happy person, my dear.

If you qualify for the rehab program and this is your first offense, I don't see there being a problem. Just remember "Yes/No/Please/Thank You, Your Honor."

If it's your first offense I can't see you going to jail. You'll be fine. Get some sleep.
