Hi,
I'm an Engg. with 5 yrs exp. Now I plan to do CA. I would like know How this combination will be and how will be my prospects?

I'm also doing CA after doing my Pre-engineering...
and man u r a lot better than me...
it (pre-engineering) proved really helpful for me... because there r many topics which I understood better than those students that emerged from commerce faculty....
but as far as relation between the two is concerned I dont think that a person having more aptitude of an engineer will find CA interesting... cause I've found CA very dry and drastic...
but engineering is logical and interesting...and cetainly a person who likes to be logical won't find "mercantile law" or "economics" interesting...
So these r the points u have to ponder upon...

sorry to say this but i don't think it's quite good . coz you'll have difficulty in finding a good job seriously. i mean it sounds smart to hear but it's not much worth it
coz you'll have to choose between an engineer & accountant or auditor
