The fresh air and the smell of the pine it's so awesome, unless you hike past the timberline and can see virtually everything from looking down it is totally awesome. The serene sounds of the wildlife...unless of course you have a rowdy cougar bawlin' around it is pretty serene.

Mountains are just outcroppings of Earth's crust, so I don't feel emotional about them one way or the other.
