Because America is just so.... I don't know? In GOD they trust but the government just love to take matters into their own hands!

Anyway, yes I believe that God sent his only Son, Jesus (in the form of a man)... To earth (from heaven) to be crucified and to pay for my sin.

I believe that Jesus is Lord, that the Holy Spirit dwells among us, like He promised and that He is coming back to save me from this place (hell-hole called earth) and I already have a place in heaven - never being sad or hungry ever again, with streets of gold...

No! Not a fairytale! - God keeps his promises!

I'm agnostic myself. While I believe in Darwin's theory of evolution and in the big bang theory, I believe a higher power got us started in the first place. What that is I have no idea, is there a heaven and hell, who really knows. But what I refuse to do is say that one religion is right or wrong, or blast them for not thinking along the same lines as myself. Everyone is perfectly entitled to their own spiritual vision(s) for their own reasons. Any christian who tells anyone else that they are wrong is sinning, as they are passing judgement. Having been a born again christian at a point in time, I have some knowledge in christianity. As for the other religions, I have no idea on their take about judging others for their opinions, but I imagine it might be along similar lines.

Athieism is not a religion. The American gov't has "taken religion out of their work" because the USA makes a legal division between church and state. It is not a theocracy like Iran, for example. A theocracy cannot function as a democracy; the two concepts are diametrically opposed. Look up" theocracy" and "democracy" in a good dictionary if you are still confused. What's on the currency is a "leftover" from distant times (just as we in Canada still have the image of Elizabeth II on our own coins). She is just a figurehead, and wields no actual power. Old habits are hard to break, aren't they?

Seperation of Church and State has been hijacked by the liberals as a way of getting rid of religion.

We as Americans use the phrase "in god we trust" because we know their is a higher power and our future is his will. So we trust in his understanding to guide us.

I believe in God but I am not sure if hell is eternal. But I dont think the answers will present themselves until i am standing at the pearlly gates.

I'm an atheist; no.

"In God We Trust" became the US motto in 1954 and placed on currency to clearly identify the US Dollar as America's official God.

I believe in God, a Heaven, and Hell. Why not? He is the reason you're here today. Things that could'nt be explained can only be answered by Him. Once you die, where will your spirit go? There would be a place somewhere for you. And there you will know all the answers to all...

i in my opinion am an atheist and do not remember on Heaven or souls. The afterlife isn't a significant element of Jewish faith. the most famed concept appears that the lifeless are lifeless for now, yet will be resurrected in yet another international after this one ends. The extra reliable you're, the extra acceptable your position there'll be. Being Jewish isn't a call for, yet because the Torah is all about the thanks to be "reliable" in this existence, being Jewish truly delivers an benefit. Christians do believe that in ordinary words Christians bypass to heaven. maximum believe some thing else bypass to Hell, although the Bible itself in basic terms ability that we proceed to be lifeless continuously. it really is not fairly about reliable deeds, it really is about God/Jesus doing a choose for his acquaintances. Telling human beings they are extra acceptable than anybody else is an awesome thanks to make your faith customary. it really is not rational and it really is truly not honest, yet human beings do not opt for his or her beliefs on those criteria. i comprehend little or no about Buddhism, yet i'm really particular it does not have an afterlife. it began as a opt to break the Hindu cycle of reincarnation. some Buddhists remember on shifting on to a heaven or hell. Others believe that when lack of existence the human soul can opt for to stop to exist as someone.
