I don't think there is an appropriate length/girth for a man. It is whatever feels great for the man and woman....or man and man (whatever your sexual orientation is).

length 6-10 inches
girth 1-1/12 inches

I think all men are perfect the way they were made...
They all have the right equipment and know how to use it and it is used correctly with the right woman...
It don't get easier than that...
