It is not what you say that is important in a job interview about how you say your objective in life. The question is really, do you have enough drive and energy to work hard for this company and to help its bottom line grow.

If you just say mediocre answers it tells the employer that you are not interested in a future with them. Or you have no objective in your life, and if you have no objective to succeed in your life, how can you have objectives to succeed in the company that wants to hire you.

So before the interview understand what the company you are wanting a job from does. Tell the interviewer you want to build a life of the American dream. Be able to work hard and help the company better it's bottom line by managing people or being able to do what needs to be done. Then in turn this will help reach your objectives in your life which are buying your home, starting a family as part of the American dream.

You want the job, so tell them want they want to hear. Work wants to know that you are committed and stable, and ultimately tied down. They want to control you. So tell them you want a family, a good job, and a house and a mortgage. The job is yours.
