Could it be because you have unresolved issues on your mind or something is worrying you? I suggest maybe not letting these worries keep you from getting some sleep or perhaps find a way to resolve those issues. You could also try reading a book, drinking warm milk, exercise, or just relax and clear your mind and let it go wander off on it's own. That's all I can think of right now. I've pulled all-nighters myself on many occasions. Mostly because I've been caught up in playoing a game or reading a really good book, or I jsut wasn't tired enough. Nowadays, since I have 2 jobs, I have to get some sleep or else I won't be able t odo my job properly the next morning. Having said that, I now must go to sleep. Good Night and Good Luck, I hope I have helped in some small way.

Try deep breathing and thinking of soothing situations. Also some quiet music at very low volume is very helpful. I have found a program called OM.1 that is a music generator that plays an ever changing sound stream that is used in meditation. If you are drinking anything with caffeine in it, including soda pop, then stop, slowly though as you could feel withdrawal effects from going off too soon. Is is possible that you have some unresolved things in your life that are keeping you awake? Put those thought behind you OK, and sleep Little Sister.........

I also experienced that, but i did a lot of remedies and its works. First you have to be relax, relax in such a way that you are not thinking all your problems especially emotionally cause it will really make you not to sleep. Second take a bath before sleeping it will help your body to fall asleep quickly, and it is also comfortable to sleep when you feel clean isn't it? You may also try eat or drink milk before sleeping, study shows that drinking milk will help you to fall asleep. There is certain substance in the milk that help in the sleeping pattern. Also, eating make the physiological body work, meaning if you are full, the oxygen level in your brain will decreased and go the stomach to help the absorption..see you don't need any medications, it wlii only make you dependent.

I wasn't able to sleep to well myself until I learned something. I'll share it with you. Go out and buy some Calcium vitamins with D in them and then get you some magnesium vitamins with zink in it. Start taking about three Calcium vitamins a day with the magnesium and zink vitamins and you'll be able to sleep like a baby. Try it, it does work.

are you a recovering tweaker? it takes time to regain your normal sleep after a few months. lol you'll be fine.
Try to have your doctor prescribe you to some sleeping pills. And you can get the full hours of rest that you need.

Are you feeling depressed? Depression is a major cause of not being able to sleep. Are you taking too many naps during the day or drinking too much caffeine? I dont know if this website will help but I found this....

if you're going to sleep later and later you're body clock will be mixed up. it's trying to catch up when you don't wake up in the morning. when it's bed time go to bed and just lie there. don't do anything that is going to stimulate your brain, like playing on the computer.
