Why is it that the only recourse that illegal supporters are able to come up with is the "race card"?

I am personally sick of seeing it on here, the anti illegal campaign is based on law not race, why am I consistently asked to defend myself. Many of the questions and answers refer to illegal Mexicans due to the fact that they are the largest group of illegals.

A leading Aztlan group is the Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan, known by its Spanish acronym MEChA.

Like many other Hispanic groups,MEChA came out of the "Brown Power" movement of the late '60s. Its founding motto was,

Closer to the mainstream is the Aztlan movement,

Posing as a student group, MEChA tends to be dominated by immigrants' children and descendants, not immigrants themselves.
But the views of most Mexicans aren't far away from MEChA's.
The major players in the Hispanic lobby deny any racist motives.

Just an attempt on their side to cloud the real issue, their being criminals, and cause confusion. They also think that by tossing the race card in there that all of the minorities would suddenly be on their side. They have underestimated the American people who can clearly see that this is a matter about enforcing and upholding the law and has nothing to do with race. Not all that can empathize with the reason people come here illegally are pro-illegal I'm not for breaking the law. I just can understand I have worked closely with children who come here illegally children as young as 6 years old who don't have the ability to come legally and definitely not the money. I believe that people are afraid of things that not familiar to them and "playing" a race card is, in some senses a logical falsehood that plays to people's emotions. For instance, in many sappy movies we cheer the underdog because everyone to a certain degree wants to be "catered to". -- they themselves want to be the hero who overcomes adversity.

The States, in general, has become polarized to such a degree that we are acting more on emotion than logic and reason.

The U.S. has been referred to as a "Melting Pot" where --eventually one race picks apart another until there is some new immigrants come to fill the previous void. Early 20th Century History was rife with racism...just look at our Country's greatest sin: slavery...we are a country who is a constant --if imperfect-- experiment in democracy
