Here is for the prefect romantic night
Food: If you're planning on staying in and cooking a delicious meal on Valentine's night, then why not try some of our lurve recipes below.
Plus we have great tips on how to create the perfect ambience to accompany your meal.
Starter:
Baby gem lettuce salad with smoked tomatoes and buttermilk dressing
Asian Prawn Salad
Grilled Oysters with Parmesan Cheese
Tomato and Basil Tart
Main course:
Bean and pancetta bruschetta with Crispy Sage and Rosemary
Lemon Chicken
Chateau Briand and Béarnaise Sauce
Oriental Mixed Vegetable Parcels
Dessert:
Mango Mousse Cake
Poached Pears
Baked White Chocolate Cheesecake
Hot Pancakes with Raspberries, Vanilla Syrup and Ice Cream
Here are a few tips just so your night is as perfect as your meal!
Keep the food light, or serve small portions. You don't want to feel really full up later in the evening.
Make the meal pleasing to all the senses by using food with an exciting combination of colours, and textures.
Select a sweet, but light dessert so you can feel indulged without being too stuffed for romance.
Feed one another, or at least watch your partner eat.
Drink just enough wine or champagne to lower your inhibitions, but not so much as to put you to sleep!
Keep the lighting subdued. Everyone looks better by the warm glow of candlelight. A room that is lit with only candles can be completely
enchanting.
Don't forget to select sexy music to accompany your meal.
If you're stuck on recipe ideas for your valentine's meal, then below are some suggestions to have your partner completely loved up and lovin' you by the time the dessert arrives!
