I read someone else's question and they asked what you do when love fades. Can it really fades away? Seriously, if you're really in love with a person, and you two are very close, can you really stop loving them? Why? If that happens maybe they weren't really in love at first? Just want to know you guys opinions please.

Just because it's less exciting? But if they're still in love why leave each other for that?

I think time changes people and sometimes true love can
change but real true loves change together and don't grow apart, but closer. When people have hurts, lies and
all that other crap between them, then of course, love is gonna fade but if it's really true love then it shouldn't hurt.

you don't stop loving some one, situations arise and that person intentionally or unknowingly hurts your feelings, they say love is like a light inside your heart, in the beginning the heart brightens every part of your body internally and makes you feel really on top of the world, so every time your partner hurts you a scar appears in your heart, blocking the light. and remember the heart have a kind of tissue that never heals like your skin a scar in your heart is forever, so the more scars you get the less light reaches to other parts and love starts fading away. until one fine morning you wake up and feel that there is something messing, the LOVE that you had is gone, this was the emotional explanation, the scientific explanation is that love causes a chemical to release in your which in return causes your upper part of brain (responsible for all the logic that you know) to dysfunction and it abrupts all the other logical decisions you make, this chemical release goes on for a while and it is different in every human being, and as soon as it stops then that is when you feel you are not in love any more, some people are able to prolong this release and some are not,

Love does fade... it fades when u grow accustomed to someone, when u lose the "spark", when u dont need or think about that person like u did before. Hopefully, when you meet the right one, love will not fade.

love never fades...like the lov u hav for ur parents, it doesn't fades...in terms of ur special someone, after a certain period, u guys just settle into a state of familiarity...u might think that love has faded...but it's not...u just need to find a way to rekindle the love between u two...u will never stop loving anyone...it's just that u might have let other emotions covered the love

I would not say that the love fades, it is more like things become routine and that may make things less exciting

Love fades because your interest in someone declines due to their actions. The same way you would stop investing in a stock that no longer paid off for you, your interest or love for another person could diminish as well.

Sure, but you are right it wasn't love in the first place. Even though you may be the right woman, the wrong man will still be the wrong man. Or if it was love in the first place, then what made his character change?

No. Love doesn't fade. It's either crushed, or it's not love at all.
