I took one of our neighbor to hospital, but their was some confusion and I told him that he will be admitted for test and checkup but latter it was found that after test he can go back but in the mean time every one of his family member was called. Every one is now complaining to me why I created the confusion, but my intension was not to disturb every one. What should I do?

This falls under the category of "No good deed goes unpunished". I'm sure that they are glad that you took him to the hospital to begin with. However, in order for you to GET confused about something like this, someone at the hospital didn't make it clear to you. All you have to say is "There was a misunderstanding at the hospital, and I apologize for disturbing you." Hopefully, they will realize that they are being petty. This really is ridiculous .. they should be saying thank you.

In the future, I would suggest that you call one of the family members, and they can take him to the hospital, or call the ambulance for him. Seriously .. no good deed goes unpunished. Cynical, I know, but that's why I've stopped helping most people.

Not sure if I understand this 100% ,but it sounds like you would have done everything I would have. Unless you made the calls you didn't disturb anyone the hospital should have only contacted people on the list of contacts for emergencies and they usually check with the patient first.
Tell your neighbors to push off. At least you cared enough to take him.

Learn from the situation. Yes, you may have over reacted, a common problem with anyone who is handling a medical crisis and who is untrained in handling emergencies.
Should you feel guilty in doing the best you could? No.
Should you act differently next time faced with a medical emergency? Yes, upon admitting, and out of earshot of the patient, ask the appropriate medical staff if it would be prudent to call family members.

You took your neighbor to the hospital-you did a good thing. the family should feel guilty not you. their family member had to depend on a neighbor. where were they when he needed help? If he had been kept in the hospital would it have been better? if something were to happen to one of my family members (big or small) i would want to be there for them. i certainly wouldn't be peed at the neighbor for trying to help.

they should be grateful you took him. many times the doctors, nurses will state one thing, but after testing decide not to keep the person for more testing. where were they to take him and you were kind enough to not only take him, but contact them based on information you got from the hospital. if it was me, i would have told them the hospital changed what they thought would be needed. you didn't have to take him and could have just call 911 or called them. they should be grateful you cared enough instead of whining like babies. unless the family is greedy and they missed their inheritance chance.

i think they should shut up and say thank you very much for taking him to the hospital! if it was my father and you took him and the confusion happened and they called me, i wouldn't give a damn, i would be happy it wasn't anything major and that you were nice enough to drive him in! you have nothing to feel guilty about.

you were just dong what you thought was best its not like you said hey this would be a great way to make his relatives worry sick thinking hes in alot more danger than what he is. all you can do is apoligize and explain that you were just trying to lend a helping hand to someone who was in need of one. and you were only thinking with the best intentions.

Let them know it wasn't intentional and you were under the impression your neighbor would be admitted. It's not your fault entirely. No guilt should be felt.

Just tell them it was not your intention to put anyone into such disruption and fear, tell them you were scared, and really thought he would be admitted, and you were acting on your emotions, and not hard facts, and that you are sorry. I would accept that. If they don't, tell them "Hey, be mad at me all ya want, but be HAPPY he IS okay!" That should stop it.
