Before I answered this I read some replies .Being Black isn't your issue , it's a total problem inside and out .I read someone said they are black and relate to you ...... Black women can actually receive better employment than others , IF they do as other black women have and still do , get an education Better than HS. , as for looks , what don't you like ? Size and shape can be controlled , face might need someone to help you put on the right makeup ( women look much different without makeup) In the mall some stores do this , so treat yourself . Buy an outfit that you feel is best for your personality .There are answers ,but you must begin to like yourself .Sorry you feel so down about yourself , but White , Hispanic , German, Chinese , African , etc....and men have felt like this at times .Make the changes , start today , but don't blame it on Race ! African Americans have the same and more opportunities if not more .If your poor , free college , any race ! Personality matters ! You shine and others will glow around you .If your sad and down people pick up on that as well .You don't need pity , and don't feel your race is the issue , not now days , come on , played out .

Hey I'm a black girl myself. I know how hard it is to live in this world when not many people want to give out chances to people like us. But I'm losing weight and doing what I want to do by keeping those I love close to me and to support me. If you want something in this world you go and get it don't let anything get in your way! If u do this then in the world of beautiful people we will all stand at the TOP!! everything happens for a reason.

Yeah, the hype would have us believe that we have to be beautiful to be successful and happy. But it just ain't so.
What sparks your interest? Pursue it. Study it. Whatever you're passionate about will do more for you than anything else. Follow your heart and the beauty of the love you express will show. Make a list of things you like and do well. Become your own best friend --- seriously! Be kind and loving to yourself; then spread it around to others in your life.

Educate yourself! i know i am not great looking either but if i had practiced what i preached i would be alot more atractive to alot more people... inteligence is soooooo underated that is one of the most atractive qualities in a person to me makes a 5 a 10 a good sence of humor is a great aset also...
looks are not all about looks i have met alot of knockouts that couldnt hold an inteligent convo about anthing except themselfs, to superfical people looks might be enough but to the rest of us thats only a part or the puzzle...

Wow, I just turned 14 and i'm Korean. I never felt beautiful, and I faced harsh racisim and still do. I can completely relate to what you are saying. If I wanted to do something, I was discouraged because I was an asian in a white dominated world and all these beautiful and even smart people were shoved at my face. the moment i realized this, i knew i had to be the best in everything i took on. you are at that age where you normally think like this. but dont worry that will change. you might even be miss america someday!@!!!
just keep that in mind and dont worry about yourself like that. black is beautiful. there are times that i wish i was black so i could hide in the woods and not be seen by anyone.
