I heard a quote in a movie earlier this evening."From birth to death we are travellers between eternities".

Travel is symbolic to continuity of an experience, because the speed and mobility ensures maximising the focus of our mind. Similarly, our memories of this lifetime is available to most of us during this lifetime, not the earlier or future ones. And most people experience life (the travel thro' lifetime) only due to memory capability. Hence the quote.

I take it as our lives are meaningless. Compared to the infinite universe of life out there, the destruction of Earth would have no bearing on the outcome on the rest of the universe. That is why I believe that the universe has always been, and has never been created, nor will it be destroyed. It is simply too huge.
