anything you wouldnt do in front of them would probably be the best way to find out. if youd have phone sex with someone else right in front of their face then no, its not cheating. also just think about how youd like to find out that your partner has been having phone sex with other people.

Not really. It's similar to flirting. Your partner may get upset if they become aware of it, but if you are discreet with it, then it is nothing but harmless fun. I wouldn't consider it cheating, like ******* the mail-man kind of cheating, but it is easy to understand the jealously that might arise.
