First and foremost - get in the kitchen and throw out all the quick and easy junk food. Keep some fresh fruit on the counter, bottles of water/vitamin water in the refrigerator. If it's not in the house, then you can't eat it.

Keep only healthy snacks in your bag or in your car - such as Baker's Breakfast Cookies - high protein, high fiber. That way when you get hungry, you can just grab something healthy and avoid the fast food joints.

If you head into the kitchen for food, stop and grab a cup of water or piece of fresh fruit.

While watching TV, set a timer in the kitchen for 15 minutes and walk in circles around your living room.

Instead of heading to the kitchen for food, head out the front door and take a quick walk around the block then come home and drink a glass of water.

Crank up the music and start cleaning the house or just dancing around to upbeat music.

I love to play video games, but while I play I stand up and walk in place or run in place - whichever my character is doing, so I make sure I get some exercise.

If you eat because you are stressed, then exercising will actually help relieve the stress. You'll find that by doing something physical you will 1) feel better about yourself and 2)destress yourself. It's a win/win situation.

Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming, running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions, pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull, leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)

well everything we do starts with a thought proses, that thought then leeds to an action,so you need to change the thought,so get your mind on other things you injoy, then every time you feel like eating, tell yourself its only a thought, your body dose not need it,then do other things you have allready holding in reserve when you get this thought, this will help take your mind off the food, for the long term you need to create a more active life style,so you dont get bored as i expect this thought of food comes from boordom, its takes willpower, but you can do it,good luck.

know that eating fruits tricks your mind into thinking its full. That way you wont want to eat as much. Drink lots of water and cut out all you're sweets. You'll be surprised at the wait you'll lose from not eating junk.

Read the labels for everything, and take a ccalculator with you so you can calculate how many hours you have to run on a treadmill to burn off that "little snack".

go see a doc and a dietician or nutritionist. Good start.
It could be nothing other then growing as to why you are eating. Or it could be somethingelse best to eliminate things before you have to worry about them.
