Seriously people, quit being so damn selfish. "Gas is too high..." get off your fat *** and ride your ******* bike. "That food is gross, I'll throw it away..." You do that, and then tell the kids who don't have food to go **** themselves. "If I'm not already enough of an asshole, I'll become a politician and make America more corrupt..." **** off man. This country needs a change. American kids should be able to feel proud to live here. Most of us are just embarassed and scared.......

Our entire society has been brainwashed by things they see on television and hear on the radio. The reason kids today can't do anything about the current situation is because we live in a police state, where anything you try to do is a crime. Peaceful protests turn into shootouts after one policeman goes trigger happy. Kids get arrested for skateboarding down the street. You can't even have an open cup on a street in some cities without recieving a fine. All efforts to do anything are beaten down quickly and effectively by either the cops or friends. It's not that we don't want to help change, it's that we can't.

Yep a lot of it is morality. And lack of following guidelines that are good for all people. Stuff like don't kill don't lie don't steal. And treat others as you would have them treat you. You know those silly things god gave us to live by. But now a days we are too smart to follow anything like that it's not modern and to mention god or talk to him in school why that's terrible! And how dare we say Merry Christmas any more. It's more important not to offend an athiest then to recognize god in public. Some say don't try shoving that crap down my throat. It's interesting that the first thing out of a persons mouth when something tragic happens is "oh God!" And then why did you let this happen? Why did you leave me god? Well folks he didn't leave us we left him. And he's not going to hang around where he's not wanted. So America in general is pretty much on it's own and look what's happening.

I am pretty sure you should use different examples because the first two are just kind of RUDE. Some people can't afford gas and biking long distances might be out of the question. And then getting angry because someone buys their own food and then won't eat it? So you must not waste anything then...
Maybe you aren't helping the situation in our country either.

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. I JUST TURNED 50 YRS. OLD, AND I TOTALLY HAVE SEEN THE CHANGE IN PEOPLES MORALS AND ATTITUDE. PEOPLE JUST DON'T CARE ANYMORE. PEOPLE TO ME--SEEM A LOT MORE VIOLENT, MORE COCKY. THE MEDIA, THE ECONOMY, BOTH PARENTS WORKING, GANGSTER MUSIC, AND MOVIES GLORIFY ALL OF THIS CRAP. WHEN I WAS A KID, YOU CAN STAY OUT LATE, NO GANG BANGERS BOTHERED YOU, SEXUAL PREDATORS. HALLOWEEN WAS FUN, NO NUT CASES OUT THERE. I AGREE WITH YOU. Thats what they want they want you to be scared. So you will be willing just to hand over your civil liberties. "Please protect us". "OK will we have to create a police state". These is how it works. So don't be scared be strong and don't give in to political and media terrorism. I agree with some of the other answers there are alot of selfish individuals and companies looking out for there own interest.

Its because the morals and values of this country has gone down the drain. It is people with what I call "ME" attitudes, they only care for themselves and doesn't matter to them who they have to hurt,steal from or kill to get what they want.
