i believe you should. but that is my opinion. i believe that you two will last for a long time, you just have to be careful, especially if you want to give her a promise ring. talk to her more about it and what it would mean to the two of you. as weird as this sounds, talk to your mom about it. she is the best person to get advice from. even if you don't like what she has to say, still listen to her cuz she may have a point. you can also talk to other people who are in the same position as you, or other people that you trust. friends are good people to talk to also. older friends would probly be better to talk to then younger ones since older friends have more experience in alot of things.
just to let you know you can always talk to me if you need to talk to someone. just e-mail me or send me a message.
but good luck with life.

You are still very young, and believe it or not, feelings do change.
But I think that your intentions are good, so that's ok. A promise
ring is NOT an engagement ring. Which is saying you have every
intention on marrying that person. That is a serious commitment.
Marriage is a serious commitment. A promise ring is not so
"official" and a break up wouldn't be as awful or drawn out. It is
more simple. It's really a "I'm serious about you, more than a
friendship--ring". You know what I mean? Either way it works
out, she will appreciate the gesture from you. It will have a
special meaning for her.

I've never seen the point in promise rings. They also seem soo middle school-esque.
If you really want to giver her a ring though, give her a ring with the stone that represents the month you two either hooked up or the month you're giving her the ring or whatever.
I find it funny you want to give her a ring after only 4 weeks though.
oooh... Try a .25 machine! Those are nice!

me and my bf have been together for a year and a mo and we know that we will be together forever and make babies and grow old together, we were at lewis one day and i came out of the bathroom and he had this plastic little ring that he got for a quarter out of a machine at the door and gave it to me and said it was a promise ring........it was the sweetest thing and then i got him one.......we dont care that they are plastic rings and it makes them even more special cuz it's not the ring that counts just the meaning behind it and the meaning for us is very powerful.....it was just a spontaneous gift and it is one of the best presents he has ever given me, i haven't taken it off since

Save your money son...You need to live. Do not get married until you are 30. Go to school, have lots of sex, get drunk, take some drugs..etc.... Get to know who you are before you get to know anyone else....
