YES seek and you shall find

The Bible says in Psalms 14:1 that the fool says there is no God. It is foolish on our part to think that this whole Universe runs automatically. There are certain governing forces to take care that the planets don't bump into each other or a meteor crash into our city. God is real and He controls the Universe because He created it. The Bible says it and it is enough for me to trust that the Christian God is real. He has to be experienced by the individual to explain His reality.

I have had an encounter with the God of the Bible and the Lord Jesus that I cannot deny or refute. And I continue to see things like answered prayer over and over again. It can't all be random coincidence. Let alone the fact that my life has been filled with love, joy, peace and health since coming to know Christ as my Savior.

But, you might have huge questions about this God of the Bible and I just want to assure you that that is okay. I can only speak for myself. But, please know that you are loved by the God of the Bible. And, I do believe that if you sincerely seek Him you too will find Him.

Jeremiah 29:13

13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Peace to you.

Hello, I am Mehmed Emin YILDIZ from Türkiye.

Yesterday, by the yahoo's question pages, I asked a question or dictated that I can prove existance of Allah giving logical and scientifical examples. And you infromed that you are interested in searcinh for Him.

Firstly I thank you so much because of interests abouth Allah.

Here I will give some very easy examples from the normal life. This is my way to explain His existances giving daily events or example that all we know and see in the life. Here are some...

One of the logical examples: If there is something or movement, there must be a "maker" or "First Mover" of that thing.

First example: We are using computer right now. How did that computer exist? Of course, some engineers studied, calculated, designed and finally programmed that computer, right. If this is the real, logical and scientific way, can anybody say that, that computer was made by causes and effects or by itself? Or, is it possible to say that a computer can be produced "without" any engineer or programmer?

Second example: We are living in a house, flat or in a building, right. Is it possible for our houses or flats to be existed without any civil engineer or architect or workers? We can add more examples like above. As a result, every existeces must have their creator. So, we are looking at the outside, we see that the atoms, nature, world, plants, animals, seas, mountains, air, light, rain, snow, sky, humanbeings, Moon, Sun, planets, galaxies, etc... whole universe exist!. Those are saying by their own language, logically, scientifically: "If there is something, something exists", there must be a "EXISTOR of those thing". As we see, understand and accept that, there have to be only One Creator of everything meaning whole universe from atoms to the galaxies, who is Only One Allah!...

These are logical examples, If there is some non-understandable points, please dondt hesitate to ask. If you need more example, we can talk in yahoo messenger or in msn messenger: mehmedeminyildiz@hotmail.com , eminmehmed@yahoo.com.

That is all for now.
Best Regardings.

He is not just the Christian God, He is God of all. Whether one is a christian or not He is God.
The Bible tells us what the gospel is in 1 Cor. 15:1-4,

Now I make known to you brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures..."

As real as u want god to be

2006-07-06 19:45:22 · answer #6 · answered by Paul E 1 · 0 0

¡Si!

Absolutely.

Start with the classical "proofs" of God, such as cosmological, teleological and ontological. These are actually more definitive than "proof" of God's existence. For example, the cosmological "proof" defines God as being the "first cause". Therefore, it's not a matter of whether God exists, it's what kind of self-evidence is there of God.

Knowing that God exists, we must ask if God is sentient. There is a mark of intelligence in the design of the universe. Intelligence implies intent, which in turn implies sentience. Using the classical "proofs" of God as our initial definition and understanding that God is sentient we can discern several things. Among these is the following:

1) God is set apart from the universe(holy).
2) God exists outside of time (eternal).
3) God establishes that which is (truth, creator).
4) God is self-cohesive (love).

We can infer from God's design a purpose. We can also infer from our ability to observe aspects of this purpose that God wishes to communicate. If this is true, in what way would God communicate? If God were to communicate publiclly, then it would stand to reason that God would cause it to be written down. If it were written down for many to read, there would have to be some way of distinguishing the written work from other written works.

Among religious writings, only one stands out as having been written by many different authors from different walks of life and different cultures over a period of a couple thousand years. Not only that, but the authors of this work agree with the central message of the work. This work also has a theology that is set forth not simply in a set of dry propositions, but established in an undeniably historical context.

Furthermore, this work has demonstrably been accurately transmitted through generations of copying. There are literally thousands of ancient copies that have been found with which to trace the extremely minor changes that have crept into it. With the extant texts we have discovered, we can piece together with virtual certainty the original wordings of the text and the most recent translations have incorporated these corrections. None of these minor changes throughout history have affected any doctrine.

Also, despite the claims of critics, there are SPECIFIC prophesies that have been made and fulfilled within the pages of this written work - verifiable through external sources. No less than 60 were made that have been fulfilled perfectly and none have ever been in question. The most recent prophesy to be fulfilled is the return of Israel to Palestine last century. It happenned exactly to the day it was prophesied.

Finally, the message of this work has resonated in the hearts of those willing to be honest about their true nature and motivations. No other work fills the internal conflict created by denying our need for reconciliation with God.

Of course this work is the Bible. God is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. God's promise to Adam and Eve for one who would "crush the head of the serpent" was fulfilled in the line of David, as it was prophesied. He was born in Bethlehem as prophesied. Wise men came from afar as was prophesied. He was betrayed for 30 pieces of silver as was prophesied. He was beaten, but no bone broke as was prophesied. His clothes were gambled for as was prophesied. The list goes on.

Yes, the Christian God is real. Jesus is the Messiah. He has gone to prepare a place for us and will return for us at the appointed time (which has not been prophesied).

Well, everyone has their own definition of "God" or "Religion". Millions of people believe that the christain god is real while other millions believe Budda is real. It dosnt matter what you call it...Its the principle...the thought of something greater than yourself. If you feel like you need to prey to something pray...and if the word God pops out then believe in it. personally Im agnostic.

Yes, but the real question is... is He real to you?

Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened.
