I've been on SSRI's and benzos and they help, but sometimes i wonder if a i need a mood stabilizer.

What about therapy? Medications alone are not the answer. NAMI.org has a forum for BPD, and it's bipolar forum is very active. I'd check it out- ok? And yes, BPD is often treated with mood stabilizers. But works best in conjunction with counseling and support groups.

well, coming from a borderline...in her 30's now, medicine isn't enough...
you need a group as well....
find out if there is a DBT group near you, it will help with skill training, to teach you alternatives to a lot of our programed behaviors.
