I agree it's pathetic. Such rediculous arguments only fool fellow believers and the extraordinarily gullible.
I think they are really trying to convince themselves, more than anyone else. The subconscious mind fights against the attempts of the conscious mind to believe things that are unfounded. There are really two distinct personalities living in our brains.

i wonder why did you mention Muhammad (Peace be upon him) on one side and Paul on the second .... you should have mentioned Jesus (peace be upon him) ...anyways ....brother i tell you the words of God can never be false ....you should study and see what are in the scriptures and is it in accordance with the modern scientific facts (which are more than God to many people) ...and think why it is mentioned 100s of years ago and scientists discovered them just recently ....who was the bigger scientist 1400 years ago ..obviously the creator ....and then judge how could a religion be false if its 100% teachings are supporting scientific facts ...how could a book be false which only has 1 version ....why a false religion be so effective that it has more than 1.5 billion followers ...WHY ????? any logic ....

Well, maybe you should take a closer look for yourself. It's easy to be a cynic, but the fact is that evidence points towards prophecy in some cases.

I've heard many say that the Koran has scientific evidence in it, and I believe them until I feel like reading it for myself (could be tomorrow.. could be never.) I've read some things in the bible and have found no scientific evidence. Those who said that were just trying to compare their faith with another, like "Nyah nyah! Ours has it tooo!"

I think you can always make a claim that something prophesizes something. I could probably take an episode of the Simpsons and claim the same thing.

Quite a few of the prophecies of Nostradamus have come true. Does it mean that we should start worshipping him & his book.

are you scared that they are true...you shouldn't be...we can all make these prophecies seem the way we wan't them to..yet the fact is that they are real and happening..whether you want to admit it or not...you should study the Bible if you really want to know the truth..or you can continue to live in denial..peace.
