In recent years, single man in this tiny island have been expanding their choice of getting a foriegn wife from other countries eg. china, vietnam etc.... compare to getting one in local. Do our local girls really rated by many single as much more demanding in life & materials untill the single man are out of choice and hopes????

honestly, the local girls are great but many of them have lost touch with what love really is. alot of them are so much into media that it makes them turn snobby and think they no everything. now foriegn girls haven't made it to that point. they're still innocent in a way, when it comes to love, support, and being a good person. they are good people naturally and media hasn't corrupted their natural way of thinking. that's why a better choice would have to be the foriegn wife.

You know you have to do what is in your heart, Marriage is a long term comment and you need to think about getting married for the right reason's if you have had problems finding the "right one" than maybe its not your time yet, but if you think that this choice will bring you true happiness than more power to you. You know iam 32 and not married and in no hurry I want to make sure the person I marry will be together for the rest of my life.

I know people who married foreigners simply because foreigner girls are more passive and timid which makes them less demanding and less high maintenance. I know a few couples where the relationship is still working although one of them they can't speak to each other (she speaks Japanese only). Majority of the time, it doesn't work out due to the cultural gap and nothing in common. Most foreign girls just want a green card to America and that is why it's so easy to obtain them. Their eagerness to please initially makes them easy to get for desperate men...this is appealing at first but realitiy sets in when the marriage certificate is signed and he finds it hard to relate to her.

Wake up and grow up, women are women. we are raised with expectations of what life has to offer and sometimes those expectations are not realistic, but if you marry someone from a distant country you only add one more situation that can cause stress, they usually want to import all of their family and you end up paying for all of them. Thats more of an expense than a demanding local woman.

Personally, I think it's up to individual. My Uncle married a foreign girl as his wife. The main reason that causes him to marry a foreign wife is coz most of the local girls feel that he is not highly educated.

If you find someone you fall in love with, marry them. Otherwise, just become good friends with everyone you can until you fall in love with one of them. Ethnicity does not matter!!!
