The main reason is that now the entire planet is in meterological disorder. Simply put, the weather is in ding-dong.
This is because of greenhouse gases that are causing a hole in the ozone layer.
Earth is actually surrounded by a layer of atmosphere, and there is now a hole in it, which scientists term the ozone layer.
This is caused by greenhouse gases due to:
a) Burning of plastics
Plastics actually contain chlorofluorocarbons. This particular element, when burned, reacts with the atmosphere, causing a hole in the ozone layer. Currently, styroform is the form of plastic that contains the highest percentage of chlorofluorocarbons. Styroform is commonly used to package food as it is an insulator and keep hot foods hot and cold foods cold. But it is contributing immensely in the hole in the atmosphere.
Other sources of greenhouse gases are from burning of any fossil fuels at all--- from cars and factories mainly.
The hole in the ozone layer is now the size of the United States of America above Earth. Currently, the North Pole, which used to be all of ice, is slowly melting.
This melting, combined with the hole, has now made dry areas dryer and wet areas wetter, simply put. That is why there are now so many droughts and floods all over the world.
Coupled with that, are all the tsunamis that have taken place.
End-note: The Kyoto Protocol, which is the treaty that will significantly reduce the emission of greenhouse gases, is a treaty that George W. Bush has repeatedly declined to sign.

You should hit yourself in the face. Knock a few teeth out while you're at it. Get a relative to slap you around a bit, knock some sense into ya. Grow a few brain cells, be ashamed of yourself, and possibly consider staying in school, mainly because your ignorance is annoying and further, you're just plain stupid, cause guess what!? It's summertime!! Guess what else!? The orbit of the earth has brought the northern hemisphere closer to the sun, which heats the planet up! SERIOUSLY consider staying in school, kid, and stop sleeping through science class.......*grumbles about the ignorance of younglings these days and the amount of idiots in the world*

"global warming" <---- that's just a scam to get are hopes up. I keep waiting for it to happen and it never happens fast enough. I keep fearing I will be dead before the earth burns like a candle....
I hate the cold and the heat. But in the cold I can use blankets so I like the cold more but I hate snow.

Get some strawberries and dip them in your chocolate and place it in the freezer and you'll get a cool treat. It's also a great time of the year to go to the pool or beach!!
