No...I don't think that the recent actions by North Korea will lead to a war. Korea is longing for attention from the big kids because it has absolutely no economic features. It is not a contender to be one of the superpowers of the world. If a war did break against such actions with weapons of mass destruction, we would be aided by most of the leading powers in the world. The only other possible threat is Communist China, but they wouldn't dare fight the USA, because we would order sanctions on them, and they can't become the next economic superpower unless we give them our money. The fact of the matter is, North Korea must sit down, or they're in trouble. This is the reason we went to war in Iraq. Saddam wouldn't give in to negotiations, and he posed a threat to not just the US, but freedom in general. We must continue to bring down the evil that contests nations who take a stand for freedom and democracy, or we aren't the United States of America that our forefathers fought for.

A war against the North Koreans will most likely happen if and when the North Koreans try something stupid...like hit someone with a missile, or sell the missile and/or nuke to say Al-Qaida. A more rational course of action would be to shoot down the missiles (if you are USA or Russia for the first scenario) or blow up the convoy/ship carrying the goods in the second scenario. Barring this, war in the Korean Peninsula will most likely begin by a North Korean invasion of the South Koreans, it will definitely have at least one Great Power (USA and/or Russia and/or China) involved...and obviously the locus of action will be in North and South Korea and possibly China and Japan. As for the reasons behind the Missile Tests...that depends on what point of view to believe. Many people including myself believe that its just diplomatic saber-rattling of the worst kind that will probably not give the NoKors what they want, which is direct diplomatic action with the USA, an end to economic sanctions and more money from the international community for the dictator oops...i meant the North Korean civilians...you know what I mean.

We are still at war with N. Korea! the Korean war never ended, just a sieze fire. In 2001 north and south Korea were working on a peace agreement to reconsile and become one nation again. In the Agreement North Korea must turn over South Korean POW's and open the DMZ to allow the seperated families to reunite. In return South Korea must not allow the U.S. military to perform Fall Eagle," a combined military excercize with the Navy, Army, marines, and Airforce"; and adventually remove all U.S. Military personal from the country. North Korea complide with South Koreas demains and in return Pres. Bush sent an aditional 90,000 troups and and apachie battalian to South Korea. This ended all talks with North Korea. This was an Act of Agression on the U.S. side. After this act North Korea started to build up thier military forces, and WMS. Im suprised the fighting havent started yet. Pres. Bush has been intaginizing South Korea since he has been in office, remember he stated that N. Korea was part of his axes of evil list.

No I don't think that it will at the moment. The one that will start the war if there is one will be the evil country of america, like it always liked to puch counties around and not let them have power. What is wrong with N Korea having wepons anyway and doing tests? hasn't many of outher countries done weapon tests? Oh I forgot N Korea is communist, oh and it undermines everything that america stands for. God bless N Korea

No, but certainly don't help with international relations. NK is vying for attention and "respect" but could no doubt be "wiped out" easily by many others, including the US. If they want true respect they should feed their people!
