Sure, if you're a sadist. The funny thing about people like you is that they're no better than the people they despise.

Good vs Evil
We wear the white hats they wear the proverbial black hats....
Its like the old wild west movies the guy in the black hat shoots to kill
because they are evil the guy in the white hat has to shoot the gun out of the villians hand becuase that is what the good guy does.
Does the end justify the means that is the basis of your question.....
Making them suffer just to suffer I'd say certainly not.....but a grey hat perhaps could be worn if the end justified the means ....say we captured osama and he had info on an imminet an caastopic attack and prodding him would provide essetial info that could save lives then ........

There actually shouldn't be a more cruel form of punishment for terrorists. They already have lethal injections and electric chairs. It might be more effective but it might scare some kids

well no, one persons terrorist is anouthers freedom fighter. By the sounds of it you have been brain washed into thinking that terrorist are evil or something. But stop for a moment and think about this. How are terrorists any different to soldiers? has there been anything that a soldier has not done that terrorist do? Give me one example can you? No you can not.

I think the best punishment possible would be "realization". If you could inject them with something that makes them see the horror of their actions, feel the remorse for their attitude, make them come to the realization that they are causing irreperable damage to the world and not advancing their "cause" except in the minds of other terrorists -- I think THAT would be the best punishment.

No, absolutely not. They can't even be considered as humans. How about Chinese torture, where they keep the prisoners under dripping cold water tied to a chair! I have heard and read about it. Its actually harmless but you can't focus or do anything and that's said to make the prisoner's insane.

Hahaha... It's funny everyone whines about personal freedoms with the NSA wiretaps and all the other civil liberties being taken away by the current administration... but you are all to quick to take away the 8th amendment for everyone else.
I must say, I'm not suprised.

It doesnt matter, there will always be someone who wants to take over the world. How many can we hunt, how many can we send to the electrical chair? Who will replace their place, where can we find them? Life is life, and this world wont change. BTW, the first answerer hit the mark.

Death is the ultimate punishment. Let it be. Torture only begets terrorism. When terrorists are put to death upon judgement, then the word will get out.

In return, anyone they capture will be treated even worse. It's like the whole Israeli-Palestine thing -- one group does this, the second does something worse, and so on.
But the occasional Scottish Whale wouldn't hurt, either.

Yea! We should kill all their families and then use biological weapons on the villages they came from. Then we it comes time for us to kill them lets derive as much sick pleasure as possible.
Wtf is wrong with you? We aren't in the terrorist business ourselves. Dude, lock them up no parole. 23 hour lock down. We don't want to hear or see of them. We want to be rid of them, not revel in their suffering.
