I know there are, but I can't give you too many specifics. Start by checking with your local community college. That would be Step 1. I am not a military wife, yet. But I have done a little research. I know once I am married I won't qualify for as much financial aid as I do now (combined income), but search the net. Check on the military branches website. There are resources out there. Good luck!

Yes there are ways you can attend college for FREE, I did it. first you should apply at a college and then go to FAFSA.gov to do the application for Financial Aid, it takes about 10-15 minutes of you time. I went to school and got grants and financial aid. So yes you can attend school for next to nothing. When you apply at the your college of choice make sure you speak with a counselor and ask about what types of programs (i.e. financial aid, scholarships, and grants) they have for you. If you are not a resident of that state make sure you show them copies of your husbands orders, your military ID to be exempt from paying out of state tution which if much higher than in state costs. Hope this helps but start with college of you choice. I did it and have a Bachelor's degree so you can do it too.

that's a strong question. i do not understand of any college only for protection force different halves. Phoenix (even if that's spelled has many classes for on-line for masters degree software). i'm stunned that your college now that you're attending does not have a software for on line. you would attempt Brigham youthful college as they have an information superhighway software yet you would might want to take such an excellent style of instructions there. they have a Univ. in Hawaii, Utah and Idaho. you could continually verify into it. there are a mode of faculties with on line instructions, yet make positive they're qualified instructions and area of the ideal certification. you want those instructions to move to a unique college besides. i visit't keep in mind the agencies now that certify faculties or faculties yet your community college, a strong one, might want to allow you to already know the way they're authorised. you want an authorised college. good success. you may want to verify on base there as they might have instructions on base by skill of a school. good success.

You have a best answer from that suicidally thinking guy, nickname "S". I am just writing to you cause I haven't seen any movement on his account since three weeks..... any clue what happened to him???
I hope he didn't kill himself or anything of the sort... that would be so sad. :-(
I know we are not online help line here, but I gave him an email address where he could have contacted me any time..... (he didn't), and so many people were writing good things to him... just browse through his questions..... what do you think may have happened to him???
I am worried a bit. Where is he gone now?????
Has he just quit Y! answers, maybe???
I usually get pssed off if I see that my answers prove to be no help for the asker. Damm this fckn website if it is no help for a suicidal to change his mind, you know!!!!!

yes. Go to the family support center on base. (or post) they have a ton of information for spouses. There are also spouse associations that give scholarships to military spouses and dependents.

why don't you apply to a community college and take up a small job at the same time, then you can earn enough to go to a good enough school to have a very comfortable life with your husband.
