I think they see black women as having stronger personalities than white women and they are afraid you will dump on them for asking.

Because there is a big different in the way white women act and react to them. They tend to be shy with Black women because they don't know how you will react if they approach you.Outside the fact that you are Black and they are White could be an issue for them at first This is only may opinion,I'm a Black man,i say these things because if i wanted to have a interracial relationship,i think that i would feel that way.Nothing against White women i think all women are beautiful in there own way,it's just a small hang up that some people have.

I like black women and I will tell you that white boys have heard things about black women that they are afraid of and I believe that instead of coming to grips with the stories the choose the path of least resistance and refrain from association. Personally, I think the skin color difference is erotic, the difference in culture, physical appearance, demeanor, and do not forget the look on the white peoples faces when in public. If I ever find my life mate I hope she is black. I am an American Indian and did not do so well in choosing my white wives,2 exes, but the third sure has a lot to be thankful for because the other two left all of my good qualities alone and threw them away before opening the package. Must have been the plain wrapper because all of the stuff inside is what most women are looking for. Tired of kissing frogs, wanna shake up the white people and indians. It would not be just another relationship, it would be fun.

i think the only problem would be that not everyone is as open to all races. So honestly, you have to figure that your market of available white men is at least cut in half based on that. Sad, but true. A lot of white guys would feel out of their comfort zone in approaching a black woman and just don't have the confidence to do it. They'd feel they have to do something different or act differently than they would with a white woman. Plus, they'd worry that they'd look silly, because maybe you'd have no interest in seeing a white man. Silly, I know. My advice to you, if its a white man that happens to catch your eye when you are out, would be to take some initiative and maybe make the first move. You're obviously much more confident and at ease than they probably are, so they'll probably loosen up if you do.

I don't think it is just black women. Perhaps they like black women but still carry a fear of prejudice. Mixed couples are a regular thing, but there is still a stigma from certain families. The other possibility is the fear of being attacked. They may think that a black guy will attack them for trying to take their women. (Hispanic guys do this too) Look at the situation and see if you are even approachable at the time. If you think a guy is interested make him feel at ease, he may be waiting for the right moment to approach.

Guys act nervous around all girls but if u have noticed some guys acting nervous only around black women its probably because they dont know how to act. They do this becuase they are stupid and dont realise there is no difference between white women and black women

Its a cultural thing. You are expecting white guys to behave like black men you have known in a dating situation. They will naturally be a little less aggressive and forward. Don't look at as a negative, just continue to flirt and be patient. I think they might be a responsive if they are sure the signals are clear.

a lot of black women do not like white men, they prefer to date within their race, therefore, some white men, knowing this are not sure if the particular black woman is like that or not. If she does not have an open mind, then she will reject him, and most people don't like to be rejected.

Sad to say but I think they are afraid of the black men. 90% of the black men they show on t.v. are either drug dealers, rapists, gang-bangers, or nowadays radical muslims. You can blame the media for throwing all that garbage at us. I know alot of black men, from the US, and the Carribean. Most of your suburban white boys only think of "South Central LA" when they think of black people. If I saw you out and about, I would talk to ya. I love the black ladies!!!!
