I would say that it is too much a man's world in some places and then not in others. In the USA for instance, as of 2006, boys are starting to suffer by many accounts because of the treatment and favor for women and girls over the last 20 years. I think we all need to focus on people's abilities more than their genders.
Consider some reading from leading gender psychologists like W. Pollack.
At my school, the faculty is 23 women and 1 man (me). My students noticed that only boys were banished to the hallways for punishment and that it seemed like the female teachers used shame and humiliation mostly on boys rather than girls. They conducted a private research project and found that 100% of students sat in the hallway for punishment were boys (over 1 month) and that 90% of tallies for derogatory remarks towards students went to boys while 77% of tallies for praise went to female students.
Please just consider this. It is not the case always, as are most scenarios like this.

No. It's just as much a woman's world. It depends on if you are a tough cookie, or if you are docile, bowing -down -to- everything -you- think- the- rest -of -the -world- MIGHT- believe -is- masculine- principle type of woman.
All things are subject to perspective. What's yours?

IMO...not as much as it used to be...I like a woman who likes to be in charge at times...there is a difference between taking charge and being power hungry..I have been in relationships where she made more than me and I was not resentful and I did not look at it as though I was riding the 'Gravy Train'...I was happy for them and did not take advantage of it at all

No since the majority of programs are geared toward enhancing the bottom line of women and minorities.
