The secret is Miracle whip instead of mayo and sugar, I throw a smidge of tarragon in, which sounds like it wouldn't work at all, but it makes it much better. It takes some of the smoiush away(the sweetness)

1/8 c. oil
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. Miracle Whip
1 head cabbage, shredded
1 or 2 carrots, shredded
1 tsp. celery seeds

Mix first 5 ingredients together. Beat 10 minutes. Pour over cabbage.

Man, I learned a long time ago not to ask about that stuff.

I had some buddies who worked at Captain D's. I told them how much I liked the hush puppies, and what they put in them.

They told me that the way they made hush puppies was they had a big vat of hush puppie stuff and the only way to mix it was with your arms...they would reach down almost to the armpit and mix this stuff.

So pray you don't get your question answered.
