We come with nothing and leave with nothing but leave behind friends and memories.

Only physical of us are our remains. Do we have to leave our remains behind for particular / religious reasons or just do with cremation and scatter the remains in the sea. Leaving nothing physical behind.

Leaving no physical traces, totally doing away with aniversaries that are troublesome for family members to attend to. Whatever remains are just emotions and memories that will be totally forgotten and gone in time to come.

sorry too emotion in that.

Question is: is ok to leave nothing after death, ridding even of our own remains? eg scattering our ashes in the sea.

it's good to donate any useful organs to those who are still living, like giving up your pair of eyes to the blind and let them see again. Helping save another a couple of life with your donated heart, lungs, kidney, skin etc. Then u can cremate the body and toss out to the sea, it's pretty expensive maintaing the ashes in the crematorium, i rather not have one when i died. After taking out all the useful organs, then just scattered it in the water, save the next of kin of the burden of continuing to pay after i died. :)

It depends your remains while you are alive are your responsibility to make plans to do whatever you wish to do .Don't leave it up to the family to make that decision.I had a friend who was manic-depressive,his mom had cancer and had her remains cremated so he would not pitch a tent at her grave.Spiritually it makes no difference.

Friends and family will also die. So what's your point? I say yes to cremation. Why waste space with cemetaries? The world is already too crowded, with land at a premium.

is it a loud thinking ?regarding anniversaries , it is left to the relatives whether they want to do it or not. why should we bother about it .? actually in hindu religion sume people go to holy places like kashi do their function before threir die. so that their relatives will not have to do if they don't like it.
