Can you christians explain to my audience what you plan on doing for an eternity since you are soooo obsessed with the fact that you are immortal and live forever in an after life? Even though the truth is there is no after life. So, NOW, as opposed to not existing anymore after you die which is what is the truth, why dont you tell us about it what you wanna lovvve to do for an eternity as a "spirit" which according to myth cannot eat, cant have sex, drink, or do anything the physical body can do and by the way just so you know there are 90,000 people viewing my post right now from around the world. Yes you wanna say something? Go ahead.

I am not a Christian, nor do I believe in the concept of a literal "afterlife"... at least not in believing that I will go on as an individual the way I am now.

However, as you assert the "truth" of things, I will neatly remind you that absence of proof is only held to be proof of absence by fools, and ask you to demonstrate just how it is you know your view is the truth more than the views of anyone else might be.

If you have incontrovertable proof, you should present it so we can be done with the matter and set religion aside as being false.

If you don't, then you're being just as big a hypocrite as everyone else in claiming to know more than you do, and don't have a leg to stand on in reality.

So, what would I say in front of 90,000 people to this question?

Put up or shut up.

Edit: Hmmm... the days go by, and nary a word in response. I suppose that means "the truth" is, he has no more proof than anyone else he's right, and has taken the "shut up" option.

What a curious question! Your commentary certainly doesn't describe historic Christianity. For instance, Christianity knows nothing of living an eternity as disembodied spirits, but rather asserts that all people will live forever in resurrected physical bodies (including you and your audience). Part of the expectations for Christians is a tremendous feast -- a party that is beyond comprehension -- where there WILL be eating and drinking and singing and dancing. Think of it as a party that never ends and keeps getting better as it goes on. (And if there isn't sex as we now know it, there will be something even more intense.) You've been invited, too, but it's an "RSVP" affair, and the Host will be quite saddened if you decline.

Hello World. I just want to tell you that this announcer is full of doggy pooh. He really doesn't have any idea what he's talking about. He's been listening to too many Atheists. And you've also heard them since you tune in here quite often. The truth is there really is an afterlife...even if you don't believe it, or don't believe in God. You will still come face to face with Him when you cross over...

Remember all the near death stories where people tell of a tunnel of light...some even saw Him... Remember the biblical story of the rich man that died and wanted to send Lazarus back to tell his brother what awaits him after death...thinking that a dead man returning would convince him of the truth of it? Jesus didn't believe that would work...well, has it?

If you want to believe that all that awaits you in the grave is worms....well, that's your choice. I proclaim to you that there is a living God, who has done everything in His power to make it possible for you to get to know Him, and even spend eternity exploring the beauties of the universe. I mean if you think this world is beautiful (before we messed it up) just wait until you see the rest of it! He's a Master Artist and you can't even conceive of the Beauty He's come up with! What will I do for an Eternity? Oh, man! Explore everything! No longer limited by time, space or these bodies that get sick and tired...I can't wait! Why settle for so little, folks, reach for the stars!

Thanks, Live, and I just want to say how great it is to be here. Thanks for having me on your post!

So, you wanna know what I'm gonna do for an eternity? Well, to tell you the truth, I haven't really thought about it. But now that you mention it, there is no life after death, is there. Probably should call it "existing" after death. After all, nothing can really be destroyed, it just changes form, right? So let's say we're a collection of electrons or something, okay? So, if I'm a spiritual nano-machine, then I would assume I could influence things to occur, even if on a small scale. I mean, that may be how God does it, right? I don't know, I ain't God. But I do believe in him and so believe in a spiritual form and so I believe that, indeed, we can do anything we think, now.

By the way, I don't believe in your 90,000 imaginary viewers, Bud. You can't prove they exist. It's just you and me, here. So, it's your turn, sucker.

How do you know that there is something after this life? This life is physical. Have you seen what is hereafter? Can you make judgements like this so easily? Some people live with hope and faith of a better tomorrow, let alone the hereafter. Maybe the next life is physical as well, you do not know that. How about this... why don't you go pick up some books on the subject and then ponder it for your own benefit. Maybe you'll learn something instead of being single minded.

Have a nice day!

Why are you so angry? I understand why some people resent Christians - many try to push their beliefs on others - but do you really want to stoop to that level? If you believe there is no afterlife, I respect that...it must really help you to make the most of this life. I, personally, find comfort in the idea of an afterlife and knowing that the people I love and have lost could be watching over me. It's all about personal choice and preference. I respect your beliefs and would never mock them. I hope you can respect mine as well. Only through respect and understanding will all the crap that is wrong with this world ever be resolved...such animosity for different beliefs only fuels the fires of hate between people.

I hope that answers your question, and I wish the best for you and all who read this message, regardless of your beliefs.

okay to the audience, do ya htink you could tell me WHICH christians you were referring to.. we have a whole lot of NEW religions out there.. and I myself am a christian, not by choice, it was how I was raised... could have been catholic, since my mom married a catholic an signed the papers saying we would be raised catholic but my dad said, HECK no, because of what he had to go through for church.. but that MY FRIENDS is a whole other story... but back to yours

what one religion believes from another religion will always be the battle that we face.. for you to ask means you weren't raised christian.. but that doesn't mean that it's now time to critisize you for the religion (if you grew having one) that you follow...

to be honest with you.. I grew up christian.. I learned about catholics.. mormons, jewish people, those who believe in allah (however it's spelled, sorry if I spelled it wrong) or those who bring fruit to a buddah from all of my friends that grew up having different beliefs ... there is no right or wrong answer because not every one follows the same the religion...

I guess.... for someone like you to have balls, and say things hoping that everyone and their mom will step in a start one big religious war with you is just so great.. but if you are sooo curious why don't you sit down with someone who is christian and let them explain to you.. not by scriptures and by what's in the bible.. but what they feel to them is why we have eternal life... and having eternal life (afterlife) is not coming back as a cat or anything.. but basically ending life here, and leaving the injustice and turmoils behind.. and being with who ever it is that you believe and follow...

hopefully you have made someone irritated enough to help you clear up the insanity that is screaming to escape that little head of yours...

cheers to you and the religion that you believe in... maybe you will end up ruling the world and telling us all how it should be.

My believe from from a very simple phrase, I would rather live knowing there is God die and discover that He does not exist, rather than Ignore His teaching plus him and die and realise He lives forever. Imagine all you have read about His wrath and what He is capable of doing to you for being disapproval of Him. I believe there is a God. I have seeing his miracle and I know with Him all things are possible. Whether or not I will live as a spirit, I have already witness His salvation and am glad I can look forward to a brighter day coz of His Mercy.

I'm guessing everybody would just set around all day grinning. On Sundays they'd go to church, that's for sure. A picture window into hell would be great. You could have friends over and read the Bible, that would be exciting. You could probably get a part-time job building universes with God, but that sounds like hard work. All I know is if my mother in law makes it there, I ain't going.

I have the belief that if you are a born again Christian, when you die and go to Heaven, the things you enjoyed in your life as a Christian on Earth will be in Heaven. However, having such an aggressive anti-Christian view doesn't allow for an optimistic open opinion to form. Try picking up the Holy Bible and reading it. And please try to approach it with an open mind.
