Im going back 2 school with a new look and my bf said he likes me the way I was. What if he doesnt like my new look. Dont say if he doesnt dump him thats not what I wanna hear.

Look here,you are tripping.He is a guy.He will be cool with it ,unless he is toying with you don't let his comments get to you.Unless its a comment you like then go with it.

So do you already have the new look or are you just contemplating a change? If he has already seen the new look and told you he liked the old look better. My question is how devoted to this new look are you? If you really like the way you look then make sure you express that to him. Remember you have to please yourself, too!
I think one of the other poster's by the name of "euphoriareve" made a valid point which you should consider carefully. However, you obviously know him and feel he's worth keeping irrespective of what he thinks of your "new look".
From my perspective your choices are to:
1. Keep the look and hope it grows on him;
2. Change to a new style and hope it's more appealing to him;
3. Change back to your old style to satisfy him; or finally,
4. Keep the style in spite of what he thinks.
I'm speaking as a guy and personally I think you should go with #4 providing you like the new look. If the guy truly loves you he will set aside his own self-centeredness (sp) and will care about your self-image and what makes you feel good about yourself rather than trying to control you as a possession. Think about it...
Relationship are hard work! I wish you the best of luck with whatever decision you make.

Maybe he did like you the old way but you have to give him time to adjust to your new you. If you do not act any differently but look different it is just a matter of him adjusting to the new look. Let him have some time but do not act any different and pretty soon he will quit whining and it will start going away. To expect him to automatically like a new you is not totally a fair expectation, do you think? Put yourself on the other side of the coin so you can see the whole picture and that is where you see everything and it is easier to help him with the new you. Work it baby!!

You are young and you should try out lots of looks. Set the style, don't follow it. And don't let anyone tell you how to dress or look -- especially a guy. Tell him that you don't tell him what to do so he should give you the same respect.

Why you gotta play mind games like that? It sounds like you haven't even shown him your new look. If you go to your guy and ask how you look, OF COURSE he's going to say he likes it, because he likes YOU. If your new look is better, he's going to like it better (unless you just went totally goth or got a full-body tat or something, then you'll obviously look like a freakshow no matter what).

he may interpret your new look as sign that your changing, and he may lose you! also he might feel that your new look will attract too much attention form other guys and you might start seeing other guys and thus lose you. tell him it doesnt matter how you look on the oustside, you know how you feel on the inside bout him
