Evangelists are not all bad. I use to think of that word as bad but it's not. It's spreading the word of God to others. My church is not rich by any means. If we have an activity we have to pay because the church can't afford to pay. We barely have enough money for our missionaries. Some churches are richer than others because they have more members. More member means more people to pay Tithe. Paying Tithe is in the Bible. It's not a way to make money or a marketing tool it is money to help maintain your church and send missionaries out and help expand your church. It's not so the Pastor can have a Porche in his driveway.
