Why you as US citizens dont vote a party who takes care of the problems of the US instead of voting a party who takes care in solving the problems of countries that are away far from you (with all the money that your goverment is spending outside the US you could do a lot in order to resolve the issue of the increasing debt and of the illegal inmigration or not?)?
Maybe the image of the US would be better in world, if the US would take care of their own problems instead of telling others what to do?
Please dont feel ofended. I only want to have your opinion. Thanks!

As an American citizen, I agree. However it feels like we do not have the power to change what "is" or what will "be". In this country the person(s) that makes the most noise get the attention. The rest of us work, are raising families, or are not interested in getting involved to make the effort to direct our government. Tell me what party is the "right one"? They all seem to have their own agenda that says "I'm going to make a name for myself". Look at our current administration. I have not seen the right party yet!! The common sense seems to have been lost. Bare in mind that we are still an experiment in the making at only 230 years old. It has not gone perfectly, but I believe it has gone better than the fore-fathers had expected. I believe that most Americans believe the same thing you do---take care of ourselves--then help others. I believe most Americans do not want to meddle in other peoples affairs. We do like to help and would like to continue helping, but where do we draw the line and at what cost do we stop??? I appreciate you asking, no offense taken. Obviously a lot more could be said, but I'll just say "thanks for asking" in close. Best wishes.

it's a good question, however, then they would have to show how they are actually using the money and how it's actually solving the problem.
when the US government says that it's foreign spending, it's a lie. They are just hiding all the theft they are doing and filling their own pockets. They don't have to show ledgers on how the foreign spending is done, they just label all the missing money as FOREIGN SPENDING, and that's it. You think there's an auditor for Mexico? Canada? England? France? no hunny, governments steal from their own countries everywhere...ours is just really polite and says they do nice things with it.

Either party is going to have to deal with foreign policy. When an administration neglects to deal with foreign policy, you have problems like the one Clinton left for Bush to clean up. Clinton didn't tackle the problems with Iraq, Somalia, N Korea. and now look at the mess of a legacy he left. You are suggesting that the US butt out of every ones business, I disagree with that. We have tons of problems right here at home. But I think that if we stopped sending aid, stopped sending military trainers, stopped getting involved in the world, other countries would hate us more. They would consider us close minded and uncaring. I don't think cutting off aid to others countries would benefit us or them. There would only be more Saddam's and more Kim jong ill's around. And they would definitely not stop intimidating their neighbors. Hussein wreaked havoc with his neighbors, and i would bet that if we didn't have troops in south Korea, Kim jong would be invading right now. so, where is the benefit to us keeping our noses out?

I think if the US would have only taken care of themselves, there would be countries that cease to exist today. We practically singlehandedly fund the UN and if other countries are so bothered by us, then why do we have this immigration problem. We have people practically knocking down doors to get into this country, but no one wants to leave it. I suppose if they didn't want us to "tell them what to do" they shouldn't accept any aid that we give them.

I agree with you.
In the 1970 campaign G W Bush said he was against and would not nation build. So he lied but we have not excuse for voting him back in. Sorry - - - believe it or not this administration is worse for honest Americans than for the rest of the world

maximum betta fish won't make it longer than 5 years. the difficulty is that there is not any way of telling the age of a betta which you get from the puppy shop. you are able to flush it or placed it in a baggie interior the freezer to kill it in a quickly and virtually painless way.

I agree with you...I don't understand why we have to stick our noses in other countries businesses. We have starving children here, poverty, immigration issues, drugs issues etc. I think that we need to deal with that first...but I can't change the government...I don't understand it myself. I don't even watch the news anymore because all I hear about are American soldiers dying in Iraq....it depresses me. Why the heck are we over there?

With great power comes great responsibility. Do you think that we should not be helping the people in war torn Africa. Places like Darfur?? I think some countries do need help from outside countries.
