The real question is... "Do you believe in Jesus? In His death, burial, and resurrection? That He was born of a virgin? That He was and is the Son of the Living God?" If you answered yes to those, you should pray and ask our Father for guidance. Ask Him to guide you to a Scripture to help you understand what you are feeling. I was in your shoes a couple of days ago. I understand. If you want to talk, feel free to email me.

Faith isn't a feeling, it is an action verb. Feelings fluctuate. Faith is what you choose to do, not how you feel. Read Job. Job was scared, angry, and hurt. He begged God to let him die rather than suffer anymore, but in all his trials, he didn't sin. Job had faith because of his actions, not his feelings. Even Jesus was afraid, that is why he asked that "the cup" pass from him in the Garden of Gethsemane. He didn't feel like dying on the cross, but he did it anyway. So you are not losing your faith, you are having doubts. Doubt leads to questions, then answers to your questions, and then your faith will become stronger because you will be better informed and choose better ACTIONS.

There is no need to be afraid of death. When the body is dead, the spirit will live on.This body is like an inn, where you only stay a while. Then the spirit will move on to Otherworlds beyond this mortal realm. The spirit that has faith will journey to a better place than this.
Blessed Be.

Nearly everyone is afraid to die, it really has nothing to do with faith. It is natural to doubt your faith as well--on a visit to Vatican City I spoke with a priest and he when asked the last time he had doubted, he replied "yesterday." Even men of God cannot be expected to always trust anything, so don't expect too much of yourself, just continue to do what feels right in relation to your faith and fear whatever you do.

I think everyone is afraid to die until the time comes and you know that is the only way you can stop the pain or the suffering. My Dad actually told me stop praying against him that he wanted to die and was ready and within a few days after I stopped asking for him to live he indeed died and looked very peaceful after months of suffering.

I'm an atheist and I KNOW what losing faith is. That is not, but it is close. If you said, "How do we transubstanteate from being within a body to going to the spiritual world? Nothing about the spiritual world is sensable(with the five senses), so it could only exist in our imaginations!" Then, you'de be losing your faith.
Have a nice night. =)

Do you believe in Jesus? If you do then you have eternally life. God is not a man where He can lie but He watches over His word to perform it. His word states that if you believe that Jesus died for your sins you have eternal life.
The absence of the body is the presence of God. So when you die you are in His presence. What a comforting thought that is for me.....I hope that it helps you too!

Because it is something you have never done. Not an indicator of faith. Just a natural quetion/concern that is dealt with differently by everyone regardless of faith, religion or spirituality. Nothing right or wrong about it.

Who cares? And it's not death you fear, it's the thought of being dead.
Look, the more you worry about it, the more MISERABLE you're going to make yourself. Live life to it's fullest jackass. Haven't you heard that at least once?
Point being, I have no faith in your "gods", etc. But I don't believe it's that you're losing your faith. You're human, that's all.
