The other day I had a breakdown in front of my bf. I thought I wasnt pretty enough for him and he said I was so pretty. Should I believe him?

Nobody ever tells me Im pretty when theyre dating me. So I have a hard time trusting people when they do. And I know he loves me I just want to belive when so he can be happy.

Well none of us has a photo of you so it is a little hard to tell if other people find you pretty. But seeing how you have a boyfriend
I would imagine he thinks you are pretty and if you weren't maybe he'd be with someone else. Here is one thing to remember: every guy wants to be with a pretty girl and if the girl we're with keeps making us doubt that she's pretty, we might just look elsewhere.

Yes, you should believe him. For some reason you do not like yourself enough to appreciate the way you look. What's going on with that? Your boyfriend obviously likes you! Just because you may not be the prettiest woman on the planet (after all...only ONE can be!) you are attractive to him. Don't sabatoge the relationship by being convinced you aren't good enough.

No, you shouldn't believe him. First of all, do you yourself believe you are pretty? In other words, if you are self-confident, you shouldn't be getting upset. Second of all, if you had to break down and cry because of this, then maybe he is not good for you for making you feel that way.

If you don't think you're pretty, then it won't matter if anyone else does, because you won't believe them. You need to talk to a professional and get some help with your self esteem problem. Good luck to you.

if he cares for, of course he means it. and it sounds like he does care for you cos he stuck around when you had the breakdown and was there to comfort you.
