Everyone has to make a living, but I do not understand why you would refer to them as "filthy little midgets"???

It's only exploitative if you think it is. I don't see anything wrong with it, but then again I'm not a midget. There are no comments to the midgets, making fun of midgets, or laughing at the midgets. They are just there, part of the commercial. If you want to complain, you'd have to have a legitimate insult directed at them. How is that promoting a midget stereotype? Maybe I'm not as good at over-analyzing things as you, but I truly don't see anything wrong with that commercial. One last thing - why do you say "filthy little midgets"?

No! I personally think of it as a propoganda piece which illustrates how far midgets have come in the past 75 years. Take a look at The Wizard Of OZ, and note how, in that film, they were dancing around in fruity, frilly little curled-toed shoes and singing about how they were in the Lollipop Guild. Talk about exploitative!!
The Burger King midgets are proud, strong midgets! Working midgets with a future for themselves and their children and their childrens' children! Look at the gains they've made!! Now they're building cheeseburgers and swaggering around like...well, they're still midgets. But they're roughneck Midgets, midgets you don't want to run into in a dark alley!

I think the more important question is about the explotation of the laborers at the company, itself. Just keep in mind that your Whopper is being made in the back by underpaid, overworked teens and immigrents from the carcus of dead animals. I can't imagine why the whole Stacker Comerical would be explotitive (I haven't seen it, I spend to much time mopping floors at my local BK to catch tv ads), so long as the actors agreed to it, and were paid.

Lol, I've seen that one. Yeah, I think that would be a little insulting to me if I were a midjet. But maybe they like it because people watching tv actually get to see the little that are out there. I've only seen one in real life.

Nice way to make this comment look like you care and then throw in your discriminatory comments at the end. Get an education and I hope someone says something to offend you in the future.
