where can I take class for physician assistance program closely to San Francisco or Oakland ? and how do I know whether I qualify for the program or not ? (e.g., requirements or prerequisite ?)

Shoot a little higher and look into the Nurse Practitioner program. They are regarded a step above a PA, obviously, and as such are more independent. Almost forgot: in most states they can bill and are higher paid, and can write scripts and orders without having everything always counter signed by a doc. There is a clear difference between an NP and a PA.
