God loves all of us. Whether we love him or not, or follow him, or even admit he exists. If your child was bad you would be frustrated but you wouldn't come to hate your own offspring. (unless you're not a very good parent)
The truth is whether "god" is viewed in an abrahamic tradition or from another standpoint it is taught that we as humans should not judge others. For only God knows their thoughts and motivations, and only he can understand their heart and soul. The rest of us are sinful and jaded, therefore cannot judge others in a pure and unbiased mannor. Can you honestly say that one man is worth more than another, or less than another? Who is "worse" Bin laden or the unibomber, or that weird wako texas guy, that convinced his whole sect to commit suicide? Only God knows, so only he can judge. We cannot judge who is "worthy" of his love.

Everyone born is not a child of God. God is the Creator, and we are his created beings, people. Due to the fall in the Garden of eden by Eve and Adam, we are all born seperated from God because of our sin nature. The only way to become a child of God is too be adopted into his family by confessing that you are a sinner, and asked the Lord Jesus to save you. At the moment in time, you become a child of God and have been adopted into His family. However, even though we are all sinners, God loves each and everyone one of us. Even Bin Laden and Saddam. God does not have favorites nor does He see us as being a worse sinner then another. He sees us all the same. He loves us all unconditionally. God doesn't like the fact that He is seperated from the people He created. It would be just the same if you were a prisoner of war, and were seperated from your family.

Yes God loves us all and Sadaam and Bin Laden are direct desents of Noah... study the Bible... and remember that sin is sin and God hates it equally, for example a liar compared to a murder or rapist in the eye's of the Lord is equally bad.

How do I break this to you. You've been lied to by Hallmark Greetings Christians - the variety of which like to get all mushy with stuff like, "we are all God;s children."
Fact is - no we (humanity in general) all are not God's children. Just the ones who love him and belong to him. The unsaved are Satan's property.
No where in the Bible will you find, "we are all God's children". Only in the poetical sense. God made Adam and Eve who had children of whom we are the offspring/descendants. But as far a spiritual property - Adam and Eve sold their birthright to Satan when they sinned (rebelled) against God's instructions.
This is why Jesus was sent, a second Adam if you will, to undo what Adam messed up - to restore man's direct relationship and ownership to God. BUT mankind has to come to God on his terms - through Jesus who redeemed (purchased) man back for God through his own blood sacrifice.

Yes,He does. He loves everyone good and bad. It doesn't mean He approves of the choices people make. He knows each persons heart, and there is always a possibilty those doing bad will stop and turn their lives around. Many people do bad, not to that degree, but He continues loving them. It doesn't mean He will bless their efforts, or their life while they are doing things. He says vengeance is His.

Wow, your question got a lot of responses.
My question from most of the answers: Do people just believe what they believe about God based on what makes sense in human terms? Or are they repeating what they think they have heard and understood of the Bible?
Spiritual truths are not subjective. There are spiritual absolutes, a TRUTH that is true, regardless of what you, I, or anyone else believes. No one argues with absolutes in the physical world. Who would say there are different interpretations of gravity, or magnetism, for example.
Anyway, to know spiritual TRUTH, or answers to questions about God, we have to go to the place with His answers, the Bible.
There is a common misconception, an opinion of man that does not fit with what God reveals in His Word, the Bible. Some think we are all "children of God." As stated in a couple of other answers, that is not correct.
"Yet to all who received Him (Christ), to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God-- children born not of natural descent, not of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God." John 1:12&13.
So, to be a child of God, you have to be born twice. (See also John 3:1-21). We are all obviously born once -- physically -- as creations of God, and yes, loved by God. But to be a child of God, you must be born again.
That is obviously not another physical birth. Being "born of God" is a spiritual birth which happens only as we come to God through faith in Christ, believing that His death on the cross paid our death penalty for sin, trusting His payment and not our own good works for forgiveness of sin and eternal life.
We are all "bad men" because we all sin. You and I are in as much need of a savior as Bin Laden and Sadaam. The real question is, how will you respond to God's love and his offer to become His child by being born of God.
If you are interested, further references are:
1 Peter 1:15&16 God's standard
Romans 3:23 Man falls short
Isaiah 59:2 Consequence of sin
Romans 6:23 Consequence of sin, and God's solution
Romans 5:8 More of God's solution
1 Peter 3:18 And yet more of God's solution
Ephesians 2:8&9 Why our own works don't work
Or just read the Gospel of John and the book of Romans -- all the answers you ever wanted, and more that you didn't even know you needed.
If you question the truth of the Bible itself, there are volumes of writing with historical, archaeological, bibliographic, as well as philosophical evidence that we can trust the Bible as the inspired Word of God, such as:
"Evidence that Demands a Verdict" (Volumes 1&2) by Josh McDowell
"The Case for Christ" and "The Case for Faith" by Lee Strobel
"Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis
Incidentally, all 3 of these authors started as unbelievers, even skeptics, who through research in their search for TRUTH became convinced that the Bible is truly the inspired Word of God.
I pray that you take the time to pursue this most important question that anyone could ever ask or answer -- where do you stand with God? Not because I think it's important, or that you have to answer to me, or that I have all the answers. That would be the ultimate arrogance on my part! But because one day we will all give an account to God, and he hasn't left the "answer" a mystery.

Jesus said: "Truly, truly. I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3); I am a "born again" Christian, are you a "born again" Muslim?
Answer No.5
The truth of the matter is apostle John did not use the phrase "born again". The Greek text reveals, the phrase used by John is "born from above". The Greek word used by John is `anothen' (`ano' + `then'). `ano' means `above' and the suffix `then' denotes `from'.
Hence, what Jesus said was "unless one is born from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God." And, that sounds logical. Since none of the living creature is "born from above", no one can see the kingdom heaven during his life time. The concept of being "born again" to see the kingdom of heaven is an innovation to instill the concept of Baptism.
The same word `anothen' appears in the same Gospel and in the same chapter in verse 31. Here the editors have translated the word as "from above" and not "again".
This further supports the logic of Jesus having said; "born from above".
To enter the Kingdom of Heaven one has to keep the Commandments. God's distinguished Command known as the `Covenant of Circumcision' (physically, "in the flesh of your foreskin") was an everlasting Covenant (Compact,Treaty) between God and man. See Genesis 17:10-14.
Can an everlasting Treaty be abrogated or revoked unilaterally? Did Jesus abrogate it? No. Jesus was circumcised in the flesh (Luke 2:21). We, Muslim males, are circumcised. Are the male Christians circumcised in the "flesh of their foreskins"?
If not, please read the following verse:-
Hot Tip
Jesus said; "Whoever then annuls (discards) one of the least of these commandments, and so teaches others, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." (Matt. 5:19).

Yes, everyone was made in the image of God, God gives us all a choice - take up your cross and follow me. However, not all of his creations submit. He loves them, but he has and still will give them an opportunity to follow him.

God does love them (and everyone else) and He wants them to make the right decision to come and follow Him. Since neither one of them believe in God as their Savior (which is evident in the way they live their lives) neither one of them is His child. If they truly repented of their sins right now and believed in God then and only then would God allow them into Heaven.
