Which part is "Christian" America? Anyhoo, a zillion countries have higher crime rates--Columbia and South Africa to name just two.
England, Wales, Denmark...tons of nations have higher rates of crime. You're confused by watching too much TV and associating Hollywood movies with reality
The USA has something like 275 million people...maybe you confuse numbersof crimes with crime rates. Sure, there is terrible crime rates but not as bad as even some industrialized nations. Hell, I live in the car theft capital of North America--Vancouver, Canada. Last I looked Canada was not yet the 51st state of the US of A.
Do you think the entire U.S. nation is like East St. Louis?

England and Wales have the highest crime rate among the world's leading economies, according to a new report by the United Nations.
The survey shows that people are more likely to be mugged, burgled, robbed or assaulted here than in America, Germany, Russia, South Africa or any other of the world's 20 largest nations. Only the Dominican Republic, New Zealand and Finland have higher crime rates than England and Wales.

Or how about this: The world's smallest country - the Vatican - has one of the highest crime rates in the world.

Blame it on the Christians, again.
If I remember right, this is a diverse nation as well. I don't believe the Sopranos are good loving Christians.
I will tell you this:
WHEN America was a Christian based country, divorce, crime, even drugs were at very low levels compared to today. I can say this with confidence, while this country continues to throw God out the window, this nation slowly goes down the crapper because it won't accept the absolute truth and morality it needs to be great again.
It is the very few minority that cry for its demands to be met, merging with the godless ACLU to fight their battles for them. France is turning into a completely godless society and watch the wimps they're turing to be. Haiti sold their country to the devil for their freedom from the French, look how desolate they look now.
You're a joke to pour out this BS when you friviliously use Christians as a scapegoat for your pleasures.

Ugh, I hate that phrase "Christian America" ... but anyway, I think a lot of places have a higher crime rate than America. I think Africa is one of the top 5.

Newsflash, buddy... America isn't a 'christian' nation. Yeah there are a lot here, but it is a nation based on certain freedoms ... including the freedom to worship what gods you will and your freedom to bash those people for their beliefs. You don't believe in God? Fine. That is the beauty of living in a free country. Don't like Christians? Well, that is the price of living in a free country. Deal with it :)

I have to 'second' KT's answer-can't say I've heard of an overabundance of children being killed or mutilated by 'suicide bombers' in "christian america" and if mutilating/killing innocent children isn't a crime, I guess I don't know what IS.
I'M curious why you correlate 'crime' with 'CHRISTIAN america'. If you're REALLY asking to correlate crime and religion with a slight to Christians, that question isn't valid-there has been violence in the histories of most 'religions' because people get too hung up on the words of the teachings, and not on God-whoever they perceive Him to be.

A very interesting fact is this: not all Americans are Christians - if you ask the criminals what Christianity is, many would have no idea. They become Christan's when they are being put to death for their crimes - well at least they claim they are.

America is no longer the country our fore fathers founded back in the day, they beleived you couldn't even call your self an Amercian and not believe in the word of God, this country was founded on the gospel of Jesus christ and now we have turned our eyes away from God, take away God, you take away the nation he used to protect, America is # one, in voilent crimes, teen pregrency, aboration, and so on, why because of people who turned away from God,, the numbers are growing and its scary..
