Note. I'm not addicted because i'm overweight and vice versa. I am very slim. But every time i go there and have a Big Mac, i seem to be going there over and over again. So maybe they add sth to their food which makes you somehow addicted. And therefore it makes you go there very often.

There are lots of additives in McD's food that makes you crave it if you eat there alot. This is partly psychological (good taste and the "comfort food" formula) and partly physiological. These additives include salt, refined sugar, various preservatives (msg, etc.) and lots of fat. Humans crave sweets, salt, protein and grease, just like most animals crave certain compounds. If we were living a much lifestyle with a limited diet and lots of physical activity, these foods would be very valuable health-wise because of their nutritional importance in times of scarcity. On the other hand, if we live in a society where McD's is easy to get and cheap, we often crave it because it satisfies so many basic "hungers" at once. Even the hamburgers at McDonalds have a little bit of sugar (in addition to salt and preservatives) added to the meat to make it more palatable. Because they undeniably contribute to heart disease and increase risk of metabolic disorders such as diabetes, even if you are slim, Big Macs are best eaten as treats rather than often. But if you like them, enjoy them when you do!

No, definitely not. Can't stand McD's. If I had to eat there I'd only have a salad. I've never liked their food since they opened however many years ago. If they put something in their food to keep you addicted, it sure hasn't affected me.

yes, they do. It's to make sure you come back again and again and increase their profits. I agree with the above answer that actually says what the ingredients are. I have read that before. McD's is evil.

I heard their meat contains meal worm. Apparently it's used as a filler and is harmless. Maybe you just enjoy meal worm or it could be Big Mac sauce that keeps you going back for more.

It's a combination fo msg, fat, and sugar. The fat and sugar make it taste good, and the msg fools your stomach into thinking it's full for a short time. Then your brain says that was real good I want another one, and besides I'm not full.
