my wife has been here 7 yrs weve been married at the court house for 2 yrs ,they said since 911 i can't get her papers is there any way beside going back to mexico to get papers?

9-11 has nothing to do with the immigration laws that your wife violated.

You must file an I-130 petition for her. She will not be allowed to adjust status in the US due to her seven-year illegal presence. She will have to go to Mexico, to the embassy or consulate nearest her home there, and apply for her immigrant visa. If it is refused due to her 212a9B2 ineligibility, you can request a waiver.

Probably you will have to go to a "port of entry". The best would be to contact someone who knows from the website. I'm sure it takes lots of paper work and fees, as any naturalization does.

yes of course you can file for green card the minute you get married!!
call a lawyer and file immediately!!!!! it costs about $1500-$2000

Mexican embassy or there is this website online..im gonna look it up and email it to u..
