Why are Americans willing to put up a wall across Mexico boarder, but not the Canadian boarder ?

Because there aren't 20 million Canadians illegally here in the United States mooching off the social services of our country while not paying a dime into it. Oh, did I mention they also deflate the real wage by working for less or off the clock entirely and most dont pay taxes? Don't get me started on crime.

We have thousands of illegals coming into this country from Mexico, not Canada. Mexican army troops protect drug smugglers, and corruption is common among Mexican police.
Also by latest estimates 92% of the cocaine coming into the U.S. comes in through the southwest border. The Canadians border patrol can be trusted a lot more then the Mexicans working on the border. The Canadians work with the Americans not against them...
What ever it takes to secure our borders in the south needs attention now... This is something that should have been done years ago, and we wouldn't be having all these problems now...

Because 99% of Canadians have absolutly no urge to go to the USA other than on holiday. I know because I am one, A Canadian. By the way prince charming?? if you think that your an idiot!!! Just for your information not including Mexicans and Cubans, the US also allows about 4 times as many immigrants from other countries, half of which are terrorist countries, inside there borders every year, than Canada does, and our police and intellegence agencies talk to each other, so we catch our terrorists!!

You can't tell the terrorists from chasing the crowds through our southern border. Any illegal crossing at all is an oddity deserving attention in the north.

The southern border flood brings crime, too, and the crime rates near most parts of the Canadian border are negligible.

The Canadians also don't give maps and border crossing counseling to Canadian illegals who want to come here.

I on the instant am all in favour of shutting down the Mexican border. which will be extra then we've executed in the previous 10 years to fix this unlawful immigration issues. Canada is not so poorly run that their people feel the need to come over here for what they consider to be a better life. Mexico has plenty of resources but their government is not such that their poor are getting the benefits of it. Rather then come over here and protest our government, they need to protest their own government. It is quite a boon for Mexico not to have to worry about their poor people. They are happy for the U.S. to do that while their rich can enjoy the wealth. In addition to their own resources, tons of money from the U.S. pour into that country each year.

ARE YOU SERIOUS? We get thousands of ******* mexican immigrants here, in America everyday, I have NOT met one canadian but I have met about or atleast been around 3,000 mexicans, why will secure our borders down south and once were done we are going for the Canadian border just to make sure!

So far as i know its because Canadians have our own "land of plenty" therefore we are not creeping across the border in the middle of the night if you look at illegal immigrants in the U.S. they are mostly 'foreign' in the sense of mexico and cuba not Canadians (who for the record I dont see as 'foreign' in the U.S.)
