OK

Revolutionary War Started in 1776 was against England
War of 1812 - England invaded to reclaim this Country
War with Mexico after " The Alamo"
Various Indian Wars
The War between the States - North against South
The Western Indian Wars - pretty much ended with the massacre of the Souix Nation at Wounded Knee
The Spanish American War - We took Cuba, Puerto Rico and the Philippines from the Spanish
The War against the Tagalog Tribe in the Philippines - Caused us to design the 45 Auto in order to stop drugged up warriors that would not go down when shot
WW I - we sided with the English, Canadians, French, Russians, Italians, Japanese and Australians against the Germans, Austrians and Ottoman Empire
WW II - We sided with The English, French, Russians, Canadians and Australians against the Germans, Austrians, Romanians, Italians and Japanese
The Cold War against the Soviet Union
Korean War - We fought North Korea
Vietnamese War - we fought North Vietnam
Then a few small actions we fought Grenada, Panama, Nicaragua and the War on Drugs in South and Central America
Then Gulf War I - Against Iraq
The Somalia and Serbia escapades of the Clinton Administration
And now Gulf War II - Against Iraq
And the ongoing War on Terror with an Enemy with no Country
Has to date involved action in the US, England, Spain, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq and the Philippines

I may have missed something - but I am close

WW I - was mainly to help our Allies defeat Germany - Purely Political
WW II - was a fear that Hitler would run the world if not stopped
