What you wear has nothing to do with your salvation.
Jesus Christ died as our substitute on the cross and the work of salvation was completed that is why He said It is Finished.
Nothing can be added to salvation He did the work.
God does not undo His work.
The day that you believed in Jesus Christ was the day that you were saved once and for all.
Salvation is faith alone in Christ alone!.
Eph 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God.
2:9 Not as a result of works lest any man shoud boast.
The 7 sins that God hates the most Prov 6:16.
Verbal sins gossip and judging.
Hands that shed innocent blood murder.
Mental attitude sins such as jealousy ,bitterness ,hatred unforgiving.
Take a look at 1 John 1:9.
Take care!

I guess because in those churches they want to be under the Law and not under grace. Too bad because the Bible says that if you try to be justified by the Law then you have to keep every single commandment or you are guilty of breaking the entire law.

That's why I'm glad that Jesus has paid my sin debt so that I'm under grace. There is nothing in the New Testament about a woman wearing "pants". However, God doesn't sanction men dressing up like women or women dressing up like men because that goes against his design for us. So if you live in a country where pants are considered to be "men's clothes" then for the sake of propriety it's best not to wear them if you are a woman. You don't want to turn grace into "dis-grace".

It is simply legalism. It is very sad but true that some churches get caught up on outward issues like this. God is not concerned with what we wear but with the condition of our hearts.
Obviously, there are clothes that should not be worn-indecent clothes reveal a heart that is not right with God. But to draw up a list, and say pants are wrong, is just legalism and an attempt to establish a man-made righteousness. God wants us to follow the Spirit not the flesh!

Don't listen to everything your church tells you just because they say it.Being saved is a spiritual experience only, what you wear matters very little when yo consider the fact that wearing clothes at all is an original sin.Ask your church about that one.

Ironically, the ones who say this have forgotten that when it was said, men wore "dresses". This kind of statement is based on legalism, sets of man-made rules they expect people to think God made. Ephesians 2:8-9 says we are saved by faith, not by works -- which would include whatever you are wearing.

Because they are living in the Middle Ages. If a Church requires that you don't use pants you can quit and find a more open minded one. Free will.

Its called legalistic, they believe that "following the levitical laws" is what saves them, rather than grace and faith, but the bible clearly says that if (you live by the law you live under a curse) I know these are not the exact words but it is found in Galatians 3:10

Do you think that God in His Wisdom and love will judge you because of the pants you wear? God looks at one's heart and mind, not the levi's or wrangler or jag or guess pants one is wearing.

Because every denomination has some "special" doctrine that sets them apart from all the rest.

Those denominations that place a strict "holiness" code on appearance makes them easily recognized.
